Integrated Aquatic Plant Management Programs

Integrated aquatic plant management programs involve the integration of all available control technologies to combat nuisance growths of aquatic vegetation in accordance with Best Management Practices (BMP's). Through a combination of Biological, Mechanical and the selective use of Aquatic Herbicides and or algaecides, coupled with land use and cultural control practices, BMP's are developed for the control of nuisance growths of aquatic vegetation in large and small systems.
