Information related to the 2014 Aquatic Herbicide Applications for the control of Aquatic Invasive Plants (AIP) Eurasian watermilfoil and Curly-leaf pondweed in Noxon Rapids and Cabinet Gorge Reservoirs, Sanders County, Montana will be posted here as the program develops.  The aquatic herbicide applications will take place during the  period between the week of August 4th through the week of August 18th, 2014 based on water flow and environmental conditions.  A map of the final treatment areas will be posted at the following link:

Impact of Invasive Plants on Fish
The Aquatic Ecosystem Restoration Foundation (AERF) published a Best Management Practices Handbook on the Biology and Control of Aquatic Plants that includes a Chapter on the Impact of Invasive Plants on Fish.  The Handbook can be downloaded from the AERF website at  http://aquatics.org/bmp.htm
